Are you ready to boost your impact and take your business or project to the next level with an Amplifier Grant? Whether you’re running a small business, community project, or nonprofit in the Hemet-San Jacinto area, funding can be one of the biggest hurdles to overcome.
In this post, we’ll dive into how the Amplifier Grant can provide the support you need to grow and make a difference. You’ll learn who’s eligible, how to apply, and why this funding opportunity is designed for those who are ready to drive positive change in their community and beyond.

About the Amplifier Grant
As the Hemet-San Jacinto community grows and evolves, so do the needs of its small businesses and local projects. One thing that remains constant is the challenge of securing the funding needed to turn ideas into reality.
The Outrage, a hub for activism, believes that change can take many forms—from small businesses to community organizations and nonprofits, and everything in between.
The Amplifier Grant was created with one simple goal: to put funding into the hands of those dedicated to making positive impacts in their neighborhoods and beyond.
Who It’s For
Running a community project, grassroots hustle, or purpose-driven business? Whether you’re a solo changemaker, student team, nonprofit, or local entrepreneur, The Amplifier Grant is for folks working to make the world more just, equitable, and inclusive.
If your work makes an impact, you’re eligible—simple as that. High school projects, grassroots orgs, nonprofits, startups, and small businesses are all encouraged to apply.
What It Is
The Amplifier Grant delivers at least $5,000 in no-strings-attached cash every season—Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. That means real funding to help you grow your mission, tell your story louder, and keep pushing your purpose forward.
No payback. No equity. No complicated reporting. Just support.
When Are the Deadlines and Award Dates?
Starting January 1, 2025, The Amplifier Grant runs twice a year.
- Round 1: Apply between Jan 1 – Jun 30 → Grant awarded in July
- Round 2: Apply between Jul 1 – Dec 31 → Grant awarded in January
No rushing monthly deadlines—just two solid chances a year to go for it.
Where the Business Must Be Located and Where to Apply
You must be U.S.-based to qualify, but this grant is wide open to changemakers from small towns to big cities—including right here in Hemet, San Jacinto, and the IE.

How to Apply
Applying is quick, but your story is what counts. Here’s how to throw your hat in the ring:
- Fill out the short online application
- Pay a $15 entry fee
- Share your mission—what you’re building, why it matters, and how this grant will help you level up in the next 6 months
How Winners Are Chosen
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and finalists are chosen for a community vote. The Amplifier Grant team evaluates entries based on:
- A Clear Mission: How does your work make the world more just, equitable, or inclusive?
- Goals for the Next Six Months: Are your short-term goals specific, realistic, and focused on measurable impact?
- Use of Grant Funds: How will you use the $5,000 to move your work forward?
- Diversity of Recipients: The Outrage aims to fund a wide variety of projects and organizations—across causes, sizes, approaches, and communities. Their belief: the people closest to the problem are closest to the solution.
Why It’s Worth Applying
This isn’t your typical grant process—with endless paperwork and strings attached. The Amplifier Grant was built for real people doing real work. If you’re building something with purpose, here’s why throwing your hat in the ring is absolutely worth it:
- Real Money: $5K+ to help you level up, with zero red tape
- Fresh Eyes on Your Work: Get seen by people who care about social good
- Seasonal Cycles = More Chances: Apply up to twice a year
- Support Over Perfection: They’re looking for passion and purpose, not polished pitches
